My younger sister visited this past week, and I finally got to check out the orange balloon I always see hovering in Irvine skies. The Great Park Balloon (helium, not hot air) flies at an altitude of up to 400 feet and is totally free. I recommend checking out the Great Park Plan if you aren’t familiar with the project. The finished park will be nearly twice the size of Central Park, with a focus on environmental sustainability.

Although not completed, the park holds many events. We happened to visit on a Movie on the Lawn night…Dirt! The Movie was the selection, a documentary I had been meaning to see for some time. I wound up watching it at home the next day. Highly recommended!
For nearly twenty years, the Farro family was plagued by poodles.

My family never visits my “website.” That being said, I made this Jeep stamp for my younger brother’s birthday. As a Jeep owner, he is apparently immersed in some sort of culture regarding the car. The only explanation I’ve received is, “It’s a Jeep thing.” Anyway, I used the stamp to make wrapping paper for his actual gift. I’ll be seeing him/my family in New Jersey next week.
