An artist with her work in a Lambertville, NJ art gallery

Now Open in Lambertville, NJ!

March 02, 2022 in See Art

Last summer I moved to the quaint river town of Lambertville, NJ. The area has a long history of attracting artists and people who love the arts, and I knew the very first time I visited that it was the perfect place for me. Realizing I would have to leave my shed studio behind, I walked around town each week until I spotted a sign in a window that seemed promising. The space was a second floor, sunny unit in a building on the main street, a former bank built in the 1850s. I took it immediately. I worked privately in the space for a few months before deciding to invite the public in to see what I had been working on.

If you are unable to visit in person, I will describe the general situation here. As you walk through the heavy, old bank door, you are faced with a set of stairs that will bring you to a common hallway. Here, you are greeted by a new project, “Gallery at the Bank.” In this space, I will be curating small collections of my work, along with the work of other artists I know. At the time of this post being published, I have a group of plein air paintings from around Lambertville on display.

Turning the corner you can enter the studio, and you’ll notice the room divided into a few different sections. There is a shop area where I have framed originals hanging, a few print bins, and small items like rubber stamps and greeting cards. There is a designated wall for my ongoing portrait project, where I am adding new faces each week, and also a general work/works in progress area.

I invite you to stop in and see the work in person, and below you will find the hours and address.
