the process:
After drawing my design, the image is carved into wood using chisels and gouges. Once the carving is complete, ink is rolled onto the surface of the block. Next, paper is placed on top of the block, and I use a hand tool to apply pressure, forcing the ink onto the paper. The result is the reverse image printed on paper. The print is then painted with watercolors to create a one of a kind print. The artwork will arrive to you signed and numbered in pencil under the image.
